Hello, OV Families!

We hope you are enjoying your summer vacation with your family. We look forward to seeing our students at our upcoming business day this Tuesday (8/25) and on the first day of school (9/1 for 6th graders & 9/2 for all grades).

BACK TO SCHOOL BUSINESS DAY

Looking forward to seeing our students and their families this Tuesday, August 25th from 3-6pm.

Pick up tentative class schedules
Have school picture taken for yearbook and get free ID card
Purchase PE clothes, ASB membership or yearbooks (optional--cash, checks or credit cards)
Sign-up for locker (optional for all grades) and practice opening it
Go on self-guided tour to find classes
Check bus routes and pick-up/drop-off times
Drop off any immunization records or medications
Drop off sports physical forms

Schedule:

6th Grade: 3-4pm
7th Grade: 4-5pm
8th Grade: 5-6pm

More than one OV student in family? Come during the oldest student's time if possible.

Not able to make it to business day? No worries--students can have their picture taken on our retake day on October 8th. All students will pick up their final schedules on their first day of school. PE clothes, ASB membership and yearbooks can all be purchased online or in-person throughout the school year.

Pro Tip: Don't want to stand in line buying items at Business Day? Everything can be purchased online. Highly recommend! See the next section for online ordering info and prices.

ONLINE STORE

Save time and order items online! You can purchase ASB membership, yearbooks and PE clothes. (Students are NOT required to buy PE clothes and can bring shirt and shorts from home.)

If you order PE clothes, they will be passed out by PE teachers during the first week of PE classes. Their teachers will help students pick out the correct size, too.

SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST

OV students should bring these three school supplies on their first day of school:

Backpack (large enough to hold laptop & books)
2" 3-ring binder
3-5 composition books

The school district provides the rest of the items needed. Donations of pencils and boxes of Kleenex are always appreciated.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Have a 6th grader? Their first day of school is on Tuesday, September 1st. (Our 7th & 8th graders do NOT come to school on 9/1.)

Our 7th and 8th graders' first day is on Wednesday, September 2nd.

All students MUST pick up their final schedules (printed on colored paper) on their first day of school. Look for the tables under the covered area near the gym.
