BOOK FAIR 2024
BOOK FAIR LOOKS DIFFERENT THIS YEAR - Olympic View is hosting a Follett Book eFair! From November 12th – November 26th, 2024, you can shop online for your home library while enhancing the school and classroom libraries.
Here are the details:
  • A Follett Book eFair is an online book fair.
  • After you browse and shop online, the books ship to our school for free when the online book fair ends. It’s so easy!
  • For every dollar our Book eFair earns, our school receives 20% back as a credit. We can use this credit to purchase books and resources to enhance our school and classroom libraries.
  • Students can create a Wish List to share with family and friends. This is a great way to ensure they get the books they want!
  • You’ll find a wide range of titles at affordable prices, from new releases to popular fiction and nonfiction. Be sure to also check out the Mega Sale section!
  • Anyone can support our Book eFair. Share staff and student Wish Lists with your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers. They can also donate directly to the school to support students who might not otherwise be able to purchase new books.

To browse titles and create wish lists, visit book-efairs.follettcontent.com and enter our Book eFair Code: ZGDL3.

SASQUATCH BOOK NOMINEES 2025
Sasquatch Nominees 2025
SASQUATCH BOOK CONTEST--FROM JAN LINK (6TH GRADE LEARNING LABS)
Attention 6th grade parents:
Each year in late April, the Washington Library Association gives the SASQUATCH BOOK AWARD to the book (written for students in grades 4-6) voted on as "best book" by Washington students. Students who read two or more of the twelve nominees can vote. Will your child read the winning book?

Olympic View's Academic Success LEARNING LAB challenges all 6th graders to read all twelve of them. Prizes will be given! Books will be promoted! Students will hear all about our "reading challenge" early next week at school. You might also want to add your own prize for your child...a great motivator to get them reading!

Copies can be found in the public library, or students can check them out for two weeks from Room D3 (through the cafeteria stage). They can also be found as eBook or Kindle. How many will your child read?

Thank you to OV's PTO for sponsoring the breakfast as well. Our OV students and their veterans really enjoyed it. Great way to honor those who served!
