SCHOOL PICTURES
If you ordered a school picture packet from Dorian Studios on our August business day, check your student's backpack. Orders were sent home last week.

Missed business day? Our picture retake day is on Thursday, October 10th from 8am-11am. Students that missed business day or any new students must get their picture taken for their FREE ID card and for the yearbook. If you ordered a picture packet and would like a retake, student must bring their picture packet to exchange it for a new picture.

Orders may be placed online by searching for your school name at mydorian.com and selecting the green order button next to your school retake day event. You can also order using this QR code. Online orders are available for up to four days after retake day.

FAMILY INFORMATION
Early Dismissals, Family Drop-Off Shelf & Volunteering
Early Dismissals
If your student needs to leave school early for an appointment, please call the office at least 30 minutes ahead of time (the more notice the better) at (425) 366-5205 or provide a written note or email in the morning so your student can be waiting in the office for you. A parent/guardian must come into the office to sign out the student. (Any student who misses more than half the school day may not participate in extra-curricular activities.)
Family Drop-Off Shelf
To limit disruptions to the classroom, there is a family drop-off shelf in the office for student items. When an item is delivered to school, please add student name to the item. It will be left in the office for the student to pick up during passing time or lunch. NOTE: Families can drop-off lunches to students, however, students cannot use food delivery services (DoorDash, UberEats, etc.) to order lunch.

GETTING STARTED
Planning on volunteering at OV this year? We would love your help! CLICK HERE to fill out the district's new online volunteer application. Clearance is good for two years.

Current volunteering needs: We are looking for parents/guardians to help with our clothing closet. Volunteers are needed to come in every 1-2 weeks to straighten up the lost and found. At the end of the month, the volunteer takes home the lost and found clothing items and launders them. Volunteer brings back the clothing and stocks it in our clothing closet. We hope to get 6-8 volunteers for this committee so each volunteer is responsible for one month only.

Please email or call our office manager, Jamie Wright, at (425) 366-5210 if you have any questions or would like to volunteer to help wtih the clothing closet.
CHAMPS logo
JOIN OUR CHAMPS PROGRAM
The CHAMPS program at OV exists to give adult community members an opportunity to have a positive impact on the lives of our students. These adult volunteers serve on campus as a source of encouragement. CHAMPS volunteers cultivate healthy, ambitious, motivated and prepared students.

CHAMPS volunteers will help to supervise before school starts and during lunches. We are extra eyes for OV's supervision staff, who will also be with you to support. As a volunteer, you may choose which day(s) of the week you'd like to volunteer. To learn more about the CHAMPS program or to sign up, please contact our CHAMPS volunteer coordinator, Jim Tinsley, at (206) 351-7669.
