Hello, OV Families! Just wanted to send out a few important back to school reminders regarding Tuesday's business day, volunteering and school supplies.

REMINDER: Back to School Business Day at Olympic View Middle School is this Tuesday (8/27) from 2-6pm.

  • Pick up tentative class schedules (under covered area by gym)
  • Have school picture taken for yearbook and free ID card (in gym)
  • Purchase PE clothes (cashier station in music hallway by gym)
    • Save time and skip the lines! Purchase PE clothes & pay for yearbook online using this QR code:
  • Sign-up for lockers (7th & 8th); all 6th graders are automatically assigned a locker
  • Practice opening lockers
  • Go on self-guided tour to find classes
  • Check bus routes and pick-up/drop-off times (in aux gym)
  • Meet our new nurse, Alyssa Richer, and drop off any immunization records or medications (in aux gym)
Schedule:
  • 6th Grade: 2-3:30pm
  • 7th Grade: 3:30-5:00pm
  • 8th Grade: 4:30-6pm
More than one OV student in family? Come during the oldest student's time if possible.

Not able to make it to business day? No worries--students can have their picture taken on our retake day in October. All students will pick up their final schedules on their first day of school. PE clothes can be purchased throughout the school year.

WANT TO PURCHASE SCHOOL PICTURES?
Click on the QR code below to place an online order. Code valid for sales now and up to four days after business day only. There will be photo packets at the photo station, but you must have exact change or a check.

VOLUNTEERS ARE STILL NEEDED--SEVERAL OPTIONS!
Check out the volunteer options included in this message. Please sign up to help if possible!

SCHOOL SUPPLIES:
Middle school students should bring a backpack (large enough to hold laptop, binder & books), a 2" 3-ring binder and 5 composition books. Students will be putting their binders together along with school-supplied dividers on the first couple days of school. Very important that your student has a 2" 3-ring binder to use!

Let me know if you have any questions.
