Welcome, 7th & 8th Grade Families!

We are excited to welcome our 7th and 8th graders back to school on Wednesday, September 3rd! (Reminder: Only 6th graders attend school on Tuesday, September 2nd--no 7th or 8th graders!)

Remind your student to bring their ID card (if they attended business day) every day so they can scan it for lunch, check out books and to check out a laptop if needed. No worries if your student doesn't have an ID card yet. They can use the barcode on their final schedule or can memorize their ID # until they get their card on picture retake day in October.

Morning Arrival and Pick-Up

The gates at OV will open at 7:35amAll students should head to the covered area by the gym to pick up their final class schedules (printed on green paper). After grabbing schedules, students are invited to enjoy a free breakfast in the cafeteria or spend time reconnecting with friends in the courtyard before the school day officially starts.

School Supply List for OV

  • Backpack
  • 2" 3-ring binder (make sure to have on 1st day!)
  • 3-5 composition notebooks

Laptops and Chargers

Make sure your student plugs in their laptop and leaves it on this weekend so it's ready to go on Wednesday. (Our district has scheduled an important Windows update to all school devices before the school year begins.)
