OV Fifth Grade Family Night 3/25 from 6-7pm

Hello! Your 5th grade student and your family are invited to our upcoming 5th Grade Family Night at Olympic View Middle School on Tuesday, March 25th from 6-7pm. Our address is 2602 Mukilteo Speedway, Mukilteo, WA  98275. We are looking forward to meeting our newest Pirates and their families! (We kindly request no siblings if possible.) We will also have interpreters in several languages (Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian & Arabic) available. 
 
Our gates open at 5:30pm and families can attend the optional activities fair in the cafeteria or head directly to the gym for the 6pm welcome message from our principal, Mr. McLane. Families will watch a fun, engaging video about a "day in the life" at Olympic View Middle School, meet your student's 6th grade counselor, Lisa Morris, and learn more about our school. (Our Jazz Band will also be performing in the gym before the 6pm event starts.) 

After the welcome session in the gym, families will do a self-guided tour around our campus to find various classrooms and other important locations. Make sure to stop in the library for a Q & A panel with current 6th graders explaining their transition from elementary to middle school and answer any questions you or your 5th grader might have. Sessions run every 10 minutes (3 different sessions:  6:30pm, 6:40pm and 6:50pm). 

Stop by the cafeteria to chat with our school's PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) board members, check in with our music boosters club, meet our choir and orchestra teacher, Mr. Caldwell, and our band director, Mr. Ray. Pick up a clubs and activities brochure, too.
