REMINDER! BRING ID CARDS TO SCHOOL DAILY!
Please remind your student to bring their OV ID card they received at picture day to school every day. Having their ID cards easily available helps lines go quicker and also helps bus drivers for safety purposes.

Students should use their ID cards daily if they check in late at the office, when checking out library books, when going through lunch lines and also when boarding the school bus to show drivers they are on their assigned bus.

BONUS! Students using their ID card in library get a Pirate Pride card and also a fancy bookmark!

If your student has lost their ID card, they can purchase a replacement card for $5 in the bookkeeper's office.

Thanks for your help in making our school run smoothly.

OV ONLINE BOOK FAIR
Book eFair pic
BOOK eFAIR 2024
It’s not too late! You can still shop the efair for books through tomorrow, November 26th! To browse titles and purchase books, visit book-efairs.follettcontent.com and enter OV’s Book eFair Code: ZGDL3.

Numerous studies show that having access to books at home has a big impact on children in many ways, including (but not limited to) increasing understanding, accelerating learning and continuing that development further in secondary education. I always tell students “Reading Books Makes you Better” because it has been proven to have an immediate and long-term impact on social and emotional well-being. With Follett Book eFairs, you can expect a carefully curated selection of titles from a wide range of publishers. These are the books your kids want to read. You’ll find a wide range of titles at affordable prices, from new releases to popular fiction and nonfiction. Be sure to also check out the Mega Sale section!

Questions? Email Donna Peterson (OV Teacher Librarian) at PetersonDJ@mukilteo.wednet.edu. We’re very excited about this opportunity. Thank you in advance for supporting the students and staff at Olympic View Middle School.

Packs for Kids logo
PACKS FOR KIDS ALLIANCE
Many students in the Mukilteo School District are experiencing food insecurity, including students here at OV. The Mukilteo Packs for Kids Alliance is supporting these students at every school throughout the district (with the exception of Mukilteo Elementary, which is funded through PTSA and an ECEAP grant).

The Packs for Kids Alliance is a volunteer organization, and they appreciate everyone's contributions. Want to purchase food for the program and have it shipped directly to the alliance? CLICK HERE to place an order for the program. Thanks for your support! Questions? Please email our Family Engagement Liaison, Tracy Lane (LaneTL@mukilteo.wednet.edu).
